"This is an incredibly relaxed environment. If you love tranquility and being out in the garden and watching the birds by day and the stars by night - this is ideal for you. You must also have an affinity for the West Coast and the Sandveld. Anita and Brendan Lalor were perfect hosts - maintaining a friendly proximity without intruding on our privacy. I wish we were free to go there more often. "

"It is all clean, neat and welcoming and we enjoyed our stay. The small room with double bed has a toilet and shower opposite each other on a short corridor leading into a "semi self-catering" kitchen with a microwave but no sink. There is a bowl to leave used plates etc. that are washed for you. There are plugs, kettles, toaster, plates, bowls and cutlery. The spacious twin-bed room has 2 single beds, a shower and loo. The rooms are separated from the main house with a screen down a passage. There is no form of heating in either of the rooms."

"On arrival, the guesthouse owner was waiting outside in the cold for us, which was great! A bottle of wine which I requested on my way there was served on arrival with no effort. The hosts were hospitable, friendly and made sure we were comfortable after almost 3 hours driving.A nice hot shower was welcoming, needless to day the warm winter sheets.A hearth hot breakfast awaited us, also on late request on route. A certain stop over next time travelling on the same route."
