Overview
The Joubert family have been wine farmers in the Stellenbosch district since 1912 on the farm Rozendal. Equipped with a beautiful Wedding and function venue this working farm added accommodation in the form of Self-catering cottages in 2015. Our cottages are situated between the vineyards with magnificent views of the Mountains. We are near all the well-known Wine farms such as Jordon, Spier, JC le Roux and our neighbouring farm Mulderbosch to name a few. Guest can visit Stellenbosch town approx. 10km from Rozendal or make a day trip to Cape Town only 40 kilometers away. If you are looking for a break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life Die Pophuis will be your ideal choice. Die Pophuis sleeps 4 people with a shared bathroom. The self-catering kitchenette has everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner with. Some features include a fireplace, air-condition, DSTV, Minibar and a private garden with outside braai area. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement only. 24-hour security.

"Great relaxing stay"

"Friendly and helpful owners, great views of the vineyards and mountains and fresh air. Very cozy stay and would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a break with nice views."
"A sad little place"
09 Jan 2016
Anneline, South Africa
"We arrived after dark to find the house in total darkness with no in or outside light on. No curtains in the main bedroom, a broken window latch, second bedroom door frame rotten, main bedroom don't have a door knob, front door can't lock, security gate uses a massive chain and lock. Spider webs behide cupboard, drawstrings of blinds broken, lack of attention illustrated by the fact that there was only a half roll of toilet paper in toilet with no spare rolls. Generally a sad little place in need of attention."
"Beautiful!!!"

"401 Rozendal"

"We stayed at the Ragdoll and Devon Rex as the Pophuis was occupied per original quote. The units were both very new, superbly finished off, clean and spacious."
