"I stayed at Point of View for 5 days and really enjoyed myself. It is a charming little apartment, clean, good WiFi, quietly situated and has nice owners. Do make sure you have a car to your disposal because there is quit a hill to climb to the apartment. The hill also makes sure that you have a stunning view over the sea and boulders beach. It is an easy drive to Cape Point and boulders beach is just downhill."

"Point of View is a lovely, spacious, comfortable place for a family getaway. It is in a peaceful part of town with a great view of the Bay. It is tastefully decorated and has a quaint garden that the children loved. Charlotte is very friendly and helpful. We will come back again!"

"Point of View has all that it promises, friendly helpful hosts, stunning views of False Bay, a balcony where one can relax and admire the many birds attracted to the garden. Comfortably furnished and decorated with interesting family memorabilia one can easily while away the time. The most memorable impression was the amazing quietness during our stay."

"On my extended travels through the beautiful Cape, I was lucky enough to also book a 10 day stay at Point of View. Charlotte and Paul are very generous and welcoming hosts and the apartment was more than perfect. They managed to give the whole place a fantastic atmosphere, which I would like to describe as a gallant mixture of Mediterranean, Colonial but certainly also modern influences.Great lay out, awesome balcony with part view of the bay, very well equipped kitchen, neat bathrooms, lovely and comfortable furniture and the decoration was as you would like it at home. And the hosts certainly make you feel at home without imposing on your privacy. Unfortunately I had a little sudden health issue whilst staying in Simons Town, but thanks to the assistance and dedicated help of my hosts, this problem was solved, effectively and quickly. In the garden below there were plenty of birds to admire, among which many beautiful sun- and sugarbirds, and one day Charlotte pointed out, a school of hundreds of Dolphins in the bay which I saw again the next day, spotted just from my balcony. Awesome! This time I travelled solo, but I certainly will return with my wife and with the 2 separate bed- and bathrooms the apartment can comfortably accommodate 2 couples. Simons Town is a great historic, lively naval town with plenty of history, much to see, to do, to eat or drink and only a short drive from many attractions that fall in the category not to be missed. In short, Point of View is a great place to stay and a good base to explore the beautiful Peninsula. The only possible point of improvement I could maybe mention is the view. The view was great, I could see the lighthouse on Roman Rock and direction Fish Hoek/Muizenberg and in the meantime some shrubs and trees were trimmed to enhance the view to perfect."

"We had a 6 day tranquil stay at Point of View and will recommend it to future visitors to Simon's Town. The apartment is in a quiet, safe part of town. Situated on the lower floor of the home it has bright rooms, lovely views of the sea and gardens, the comforts of home and plenty of books. Thanks to Charlotte for a lovely stay and for showing us the beautiful secluded beach near the house. I will mention for future visitors that there are a few stairs to the apartment, this wasn't an issue for us though and the apartment was a convenient base for exploring Simon's Town and the peninsula. Simon's Town is a great place to rest and visit, with many points of natural and historic interest and a wealth of adventure opportunities."

"Point of View allows for a fantastic quiet getaway. I visited with my wife, her parents and our puppy - and we all loved it. The two style-fully decorated bedrooms have very comfortable beds. The living area is great for relaxing, with a well stocked kitchenette area. Beautiful vistas, and close to the beach.Long story short - if you a looking for a weekend, or longer, getaway on the peninsula you can not go wrong."
"A secluded place perfect for long stay"

"I stayed in that town for one night only, but regretted I didn't have more time -- this Point-of-View home is so peaceful. It should be perfect for long reclusive vacation. For example, with kids. No disturbances whatsoever. I guess this would be a place of choice for some novelist who struggles to finish her book and needs a quiet place for indefinite contemplative stay. P.S: Use a GPS to navigate there -- the way is somewhat non-obvious."
"A wonderful house!"

"We stayed at the Point of View in November 2013, during our big tripacross South Africa. The house was so good that we even wanted to changethe travel plan to stay there for the entire month. :) Large, spacious, tidy, with perfect interior and a lot of touching detail. I should makespecial mention of the large lemon tree reaching up into the secondfloor balcony, which I now sometimes dream of in snowy Canada. :) And,of course, the view! Stunning views of the bay - open, unobstructed(except the ripe lemons on the said lemon tree). As to the convenience, this house has everything from coffee maker in a well-equipped personalkitchen - to the great, very picturesque, place for a barbecue. Thehosts, Paul and Charlotte, were very hospitable, and, importantly, greatconversationalists. I desperately recommend this house to everyonewithout exception. By the way, a few minutes from the house there is awarm bay where you can actually swim, and right next to it - a colony offunny African penguins."
"What a gem"

"I recently stayed at Point of View, Simonstown. What a gem of a hidey hole. Comfortable, spacious, well looked after and in great condition. Crisp, clean linen, a lovely comfortable lounge, cute little white balcony, self-catering kitchen. Beautiful views of the bay between a pink bougainvillea, a lemon tree and an olive tree. Great rates, very helpful and considerate hosts with really good response times to my initial query on Safari Now. I live in Camps Bay, Cape Town but am looking forward to another 'holiday' at Point of View in Simonstown, Cape Town."
